I was thinking about gmo seeds and how to keep them pure...green house...not big enough...Geo-Dome!... We need to create a big geo-dome to raise all of our veggies. If we only plant gmo seeds in the dome and have our own ecosystem inside then isn't any cross contamination...

...that is the answer...Who's with me!!

I'm with ya! Was researching aquaponics a while back and found this guy from WI, seedstock.com still not sure how to get these web addresses to load... http://seedstock.com/2012/02/01/wisconsins-future-farm-sustainable-cow-powered-aquaponics/ Anyhow, he uses cow manure as the energy heating system. We cannot do this in Rome because burning manure is against the rules. But love the concept of a Geo-Dome. Any idea on how to combine it with a geo thermal system? We're planning infrastructure currently and would love to have a geothermal system that can be applied to the milk house/garage and big barn in addition to the house. We need to think outside of the dome!

Ah ok a bio-dome in that case I get to play Pauly Shore. Bio dome is a movie fyi.

That is how we all get immunity ! People , Children , Animals ..WE all need a little dirt ..

Yep god made dirt and dirt don't hurt. Unless there is some broken glass and you are falling down a hill on top of it with no protection with sunburns and blisters. Then it might hurt alittle. lol

Something like this is what your wanting.http://www.geothermalheaters.com/?gclid=CNWU7M_Xi7wCFcY7MgodlhsA0A

I thought of running a pipe down to my basement and through some ground then back into house with a fan to cool air in summer time but I think the water/antifreeze might work better.

Yes, that's exactly what we plan for our new home, which will have really good R and U values but was considering adding it to the barn and other building too. Problem is that they aren't "tight" but was considering having a small insulated area for a watering system, so to keep the water warm in winter. Any thoughts?
