Don't listen to Rancher! He's just cruel! LOL

Clearly with all those who want those things no one IS listening.

I think there were a few who were looking for Sebastopol geese if I recall correctly? Anyone in need of a gander??

Morning all. Hating the cold again. Cooked a turkey on sunday so the terrorists enjoyed the carcass yesterday. Nothing left but bones. They will probably finish those off today. My egg customers are happy that the girls have picked up laying. Im moving out lots of eggs now. Still waiting for my blue silkie pen to start laying again. Tonight is lockdown on the big incubator. I threw some silkie eggs into the brinsea so we shall see what happens.

Processing question--we withhold food and water the night before we process. Makes for less mess if you are guttting the chickens. There is really no way to tell if an animal is ill or has worms unless there are symptoms. I have never had any problems in that area anyways. Never process an animal that has died unexpectedly. Are you plucking or skinning? We skin and cut off the breasts and legs. I only keep some carcasses for make soup with.

Time to go let everyone out. The boys are crowing. Later.

What gander? Did I miss something? I have Sebastapols..

Depending on how my hatching goes, I may need one. I wouldn't know for at least three weeks, though.

A girl I know close to Cobleskill has one for sale. Said he's going to go to freezer if she can't find him a new home :-( he's just so pretty.
