Evening all. Bill signed his termination papers today by way of ambushing me twice while I was busy and my hands were full. He did get my ankle with his spur. Cleaned it good and put some antibiotic ointment on it. He will be in the crock pot in a day or so. I have way too many replacements to put up with that crap. I am still mad and its been a few hours!
I stopped at the feed store to get some non gmo broiler feed for the cheeps but they were out. However, he did have some happy hen treats there that he was pricing. They werent cheap but I splurged and bought a bag. Gave some to the brats first. One of the little girls grabbed the mealworm from my fingers and ate it so then the race was on for what I was throwing into their run! I gave some to the little monsters inside the coop and a few of them caught on right away. Of course my darling silkies all got some and lastly the terrorists. They followed me all around while I was giving everyone some. They werent pushy like they normally are but boy did they like those mealworms. Of course the jerk ruined my perfect evening with his crap. I didnt overdo it and still have most of the bag left. They will continue to get some treats daily to up their protein intake.
So looking forward to meeting everyone this weekend. I need to get away, even if its only a day.

Rancher--my thoughts are with you and DW. She will get through this like a champ. We women are quite resilient you know. Thats why we have babies and you dont! lol
