NY chicken lover!!!!

I didn't know TCS matched prices either. I try to buy from our local feed mill Mcdowell Walker but sometimes I go to TSC for other stuff anyway. I do know our Advanced Auto Parts price matches because I was complaining how high their hytrans fluid was and they price matched it to what I usually pay at another place.

Runnings price matches too. Though their sale prices are lower than TSC right now.

Bring the ad with you and talk to the manager. Runnings has it in their ad that they will price match.

I have not trouble asking. Even Wegmans will price match though they're good anyhow. Remember it has to be the exact same product.

Are you interested in some I can ask ...? may be free if I wait till May hen they want to move ?

Free would be awesome! Easier to justify my fowl addiction to the family!

My drakes don't stick to one hen (except my old Saxony pair - although the hen still fends off advances by several other drakes) In the wild, they swap partners yearly. Having the extra hens takes a little pressure off of the flock favorites...

You must be closer to auburn than Syracuse ..as I live in Jordan & go to the Auburn TSC more than I go to the clay / rt 31 one
Barski's.- I used to go there for layer ..my chickens stopped laying ..when I fed them just their layer .
I ferment the food ..so it should have more protein....their prices are great ..I have got sunflower seeds ...! just dont trust their layer.
They would not tell me the percentages in their feed either ...
Our farm is in South Onondaga / Marcellus area. My children go to school in Auburn so we are there every day.

We went to Runnings on Tuesday and compared a few prices vs the Tractor suply on rt 31. Many prices were much cheaper at Runnings with a much bigger selection as well. I can't imagine TSC being able to survive at that location. The Auburn TSC is more convenient though for our everyday farm needs. Runnings said they were getting more chicks this past Friday. What day did you go?
.
Is there a Runnings in Syracuse? I thought they just opened one in Rome...

I love Runnings also, but be aware that some things are way more expensive there than TSC or other stores. I found clothing to be expensive, fishing gear too. Just shop around a bit.

Okay- that's far from Fenner....Darn!!!
I keep forgetting that we are just around the corner from each other.
