After seeing that one I looked online and found some for sale. Don't remember how much, and I don't think it was ebay. I don't think the owners of that one would sell, been in their family for generations, they bring a lot of cool old farm stuff to display.

Three ayam cemanis and a breeding trio of crested cream legbars from GFF in Florida I think they include their extra males for warmth so I might get some extra ccl cockerels or maybe bielefelders.

WELL ...Sweet .. Budgie my comet passed ..she was almost 4 years ...Really Old for a Comet.
Most places say they live 2 years


She was so weak she couldnt stand up on Saturday ..
I tried to ease her passing by giving her some whiskey .Sat night .and held her & pet her
She would NOT budge ...it just made her sleepy ..she fought death..
Every time I thought she would pass ..she didnt ...she would catch her breath ..she had a strong heart
she would hear a sound in the room and she would open her eyes & look at me
at 4 am I decided she wasnt going to pass so I finally went to bed ..She slept in a box next to my bed
I called the vet on Sunday ..to see if I could get something to put her to sleep
he was closed ....the message said go to emergency in Syracuse .
Im thinking of seeing if I can get something to have on hand to easily put them to sleep .
I held her on sunday for 3- 4 hours
Budgie finally died late sunday afternoon ..when I was out taking care of the flock

Could be a chipmunk ..they make a large hole & they like to nest under things ..
I had one that was under our shed & had a entrance to the attached coop
