NY chicken lover!!!!

So I don't know if it's a good thing or a bad thing that when I went to a family gathering last week, my family members were not in the least bit surprised that I showed up with a trio of fuzzy friends:

And mind you, it's not right around the corner (5 hours w/o detours to p/u goslings) and no farmers in the family, think I'm the only one who has a veggie garden. But mom & sis embraced the op to meet the goslings, (who are freaking adorable of course). And sis helped come up w names: looks like "Snap", "Crackle", and "Pop" are gona stick. And sis, who is not a bird person at all, is now talking about driving the 5 hours to come w me to chickenstock!! I'll believe it when I see it, but it's a big deal that she's even talking about it! Leave it to a few peeping goslings to convert a hard-core non bird person, lol. Love goslings! Love them!

I listened to a few of their songs ..nothing stood out to me ....
Maybe its the crisp guitar twangs ?
My rooster only reacts to one song ..
He Hates Steve Millers Jungle Love ...the way it begins....LOL

Snap Crackle and Pop really fit those guys ! I like it. Tell Sis she can bring a chair and come talk horses under the yellow tent if she needs a break from chickens ! :) Hope she can make it.
 
From far away - we will look like the IN CROWD ... but those talkers will get close and see us all sitting and reading or just nodding at each other !

I love that too. And how they talk back to you when you talk to them. Did you get a breeding trio?
 
GRAMMA - 1st day in lock down ! crossing fingers :) will know in 3-4 days .... Talk about just in time !!!
