What a day today. Firstly I had to 'rescue' Leo from my male guinea. I don't know what he did to set him off but that guinea was really after him. He plucked out most of Leo's tail feathers. He's leaving him alone now so I guess he's decided that Leo was properly chastised, but jeez.

Secondly, Pretty Boy has a terrible limp. I'm not sure what's causing it. I checked him out and it doesn't look like it's bumblefoot so that's out. No obvious wounds and the leg isn't hot to the touch, but he's barely using it. So I've separated him out and I'm going to put him on tetracycline - since it's broad spectrum hopefully if he has an infection it will take care of it. Also gonna worm him and everyone else since it's about that time anyway and hit them all with Eprinex in case of scaly leg mites. So we'll see how it goes. I hope I don't lose him, he's a great rooster. Just a bad rooster day here.

Hello, I just joined BYC the other day. I live in Clinton County and I hope to meet some fellow chicken lovers!

Again welcome to BYC!
Any questions there is plenty of people on BYC that have a answer.
You said you have Easter Eggers on the other thread, great layers and awesome colored eggs. I have four and two EE/Welsummer crosses one of them hatched out last summer.
Some on this thread have pretty, rare chickens, might get you in trouble, 15 can turn to 50 pretty easily. ..Lol!
