NY chicken lover!!!!

do u have chicks if so show me that u got the stuff that I got

I have chicks right now, yes, but they don't have coccidiosis so I don't have any Corid.

However, Corid is the exact same stuff that is found in medicated chick feed, only in a higher dose. I do have my chicks on medicated feed right now because peachicks are highly susceptible to coccidiosis. So I can tell you for sure it will not kill them, it's the exact same stuff a lot of people feed to their chicks from day one.

I told him to use 1/2 teaspoon per quart for 5 days. Why 1/2 teaspoon? It's because I don't think most people can figure out how to give 0.375 teaspoons per quart, so 1/2 teaspoon is just easier.

Lots of posts about this in Sally's thread.

I don't follow this thread, lol, but I was looking for a post he made and saw he was asking the same questions here and thought I should fill you in.

Glad you chicks are doing well... Very cute, thanks for posting pictures of them in the peafowl forum!

Hello Kathy! Thank you for piping up here! I had figured out dosing by weight bc that's how dosage is listed on the package. But using a 1/2 tsp per quart will be so much easier than pulling out the gram scale and weighing it out, especially on a windy day, lol. And yes, ur input on the pea threads is very helpful!! Welcome to the NY thread! :)

@Beer can do you by chance have any fresh hatched babies?
Some, month old's, not sure which one's I'm keeping yet though between the naked necks I bought and the giants I hatched, want four more giant pullets, and don't plan on keeping the white naked necks unless they're cockerels.
I've got 30 giant eggs to set from two hens so some are older, might not all hatch. I'm scared to set them though, I might get in a lot of trouble....just counted recently, not good, total count 47, 19 big eaters and 28 little eaters, I think I can cut the big eaters down to seven that might help in keeping her from killing me..IDK...
I actually want mainly cockerels for capons.
