You guys get freezing rain ? we just have wet snow here

Freezing rain from around 9-10pm last night changed to snow sometime. Ended up with about three inches. The roads were horid last night, 30mph for 16mi with a few big hills to go down. Bad weather usually doesn't phase me but I don't like ice...and there was at least a inch of frozen ice drops on the road, better than a smooth sheet of slick ice though I guess, at least the tires sorta had something to grip to.

Frozen rain gave us 1/3 inch ice on everything and then someone thought it would be fun to add 5 inches of snow on top. There are branches down all over my hill. We left to town for a bit and when we returned there were even more branches down. Crazy ice.

It's still sleeting/snowing/raining here and is a big mess. Even the ducks and geese are hiding out in the coop to get out of it.

Most of our snow melted ...BUT..Today... however we have snow
I dont let that stop my chickies ....I shovel them paths down to the grass ..
So they can have some fresh grass all year round ..Mine are spoiled

I thought it was good to do this until a hawk picked off my Marans pullet. While I still snow blow I don't make extra paths.

About the same here, but looked to be several inches of sleet/ice rain on our deck this am. Then it snowed during the day. Our road was pass-able but not great. Main roads were ok, had to take my 10yr old dog (Schnauzer/Yorkie) to the vet for dental work. He ended up having 20 teeth pulled! They actually weren't going to do it today but enough people cancelled & we were already there, so they did it all in one visit.

Kinda sucks they don't show pm's that you've sent if the person doesn't respond so you wonder if you sent it, if it worked, and don't want to send another and sound like your harassing them...
