They are covered by 3 Roos 1 Aussie ,  1 BCM? is A maran  Roo , 1 Appenzeller Sptzhauben ( Spitz ) if you want some eggs ..
They are laying blue & green right now

Well Stinky stopped eating or drinking ...My Hubby put it out of its misery ...while i was not home ..I couldnt do it .
I do miss the little thing ;(

Sorry to hear that, I know you had put a lot of time and effort into trying to make Stinky better, and I loved the pic of him/her hanging out with you in the garden, sitting on the sticks.

Last weekend when I was going out to do chores Saturday morning, I hear a rustling in the garbage can in our garage. Now I use this can as a giant mouse trap and it had a paper plate in the bottom with a spoon full of peanut butter and some scratch on it to, so when I heard the noise I assumed that it was either a mouse or possibly a rat cause it sounded like it may be bigger then mouse....Can you imagine my surprise when I find an ermine!! It was so little and so cute, but I know how devastating they can be. My husband told me that I should just relocate it.. My response was "So it can kill someone else chickens, NO WAY!" so I did what I knew I needed to do and I made sure it wouldn't do any damage to anyone's flock especially mine. I couldn't believe that it got in a garbage can in our garage. My husband had left the door open for a few days... I wish that I could catch them all like that, but it was a once in a life time catch... It was so little, I felt bad, but I knew that if I ever let it go, that when it got bigger it would come back and I may not be so lucky!!!

Beautiful creatures but so deadly - you had to, no question. On similar vein I have a possum that visits the coop every night for the last couple of weeks. A neighbor says I should shoot it, but since it comes eats the feed and maybe an occasional egg, I'm not going to. I suppose I'm taking a chance but she has made no move against the birds and ambles off quietly at 'lock down'. I suspect it's a female, they will be kindling soon...
