I'd say it's a mix. Unless you know what other breeds they have. Have you contacted them.Does anyone know the breed..these were supposed to be barred rocks .
But the people the eggs were bought from must not have had enough eggs and added other breeds
Anyone interested in a single guinea? I had one show up & wont leave. I can't find a neighbor who might have lost one. Have a feeling the bird was dumped. I think I can catch him/her tonight or tomorrow night. It looks like a pied bird. My husband can't stand the guinea sound & thinks we should cook the bird. Lmk if interested:

No because they are Amish ? and I got them through a friend who got the eggs to incubate for the schools She works at ..she thinks they got eggs from someone else as she needed 200 eggs...on short notice..I'd say it's a mix. Unless you know what other breeds they have. Have you contacted them.
Wow. Horseheads is super close. We could have done coffee or something. And I have a couple pea chicks for u too, lol. Please connect next time ur in the area. That's a long drive. Sounds like u got home safe. Will u be out this way for fall chickenstock?Too bad you're so far or I'd take it. Heck, too bad I didn't know yesterday because I actually had to drive all the way out to Horseheads and we could have met somewhere along the way.

Too funny. Watkins Glen is even closer. I'm sorry you are sick. 12 hours in a car when ur sick is no fun at all. Glad the pig is back with its family. Hope you feel better soon! You will be missed at the fall chickenstock.I didn't realize you were so close! I was riding along with my Dad to keep him company. He was meeting the breeder of the mini pig to hand her back off to her. At first we were supposed to be going to Watkins Glen, then halfway through the drive the breeder changed it to Horseheads.
I'm sick right now too so it wasn't too much fun to be in a car for twelve hours, lol. I brought a blanket and ended up sleeping for some of it.
I won't be making Fall Chickenstock because it's about five hours away from me and also on my Dad's birthday, so I won't be there, unfortunately.
