What a day! Had my Flock tested today for my NPIP. That's hard work rounding up birds. Decided while I was rounding them up that I would put their more drops on them too and kill two birds...um...two bugs with one stone. Also took the dog to the vet for shots and antibiotics cause he gets hot spots on his big ole feet. Poor boy.

Broody madness over here... have the one with chicks, a chamois Spitz that we’ve been tossing out of the nest box for a month, the Spitz cross started in a week ago, and tonight found daughter’s Lemon Cuckoo Orp hen I got at last year’s Chickenstock tucked into the coop nest box.
Packed up all the Spitz we could catch to give to hubby’s friend as a laying flock, swimming in eggs despite all the broodies.
Now, what should I put under that Orp....

Yes, I will. Probably a little bit later this summer but they are only pets for me so probably don't meet to show standards.
