NY chicken lover!!!!

I drove right past you then on my way up to Saranac Lake for vacation then. I once lived there. I don't think we're too far apart!
Don't order bantys....I'll sell ya some "real cheep" straight run next month if you want within the 1st week of hatch. bl/bla/splash banty Cochins....banty sizzles...cochin/silkie mixes.... frizzles and a few silkies. have I confused you yet???

I'll also have a lot of LF barn yard mixes from green/brown/white/olive eggs. $1.00 straight run.Lots of EEs in the lot with a RIR roo and his second in command a Dominique..

Nice large eggs.

Anyone within an hour of Saratoga ever have any fertile eggs for sale? I've been using shipped eggs, but after this next batch I'd like to try and find a small quantity of eggs that are local and hopefully will have a better hatch rate. Hoping for something that's uncommon, so I can rehome the roos without as much trouble (lots of people might want a silkie or another 'fancy' roo, but getting rid of something like a white leghorn might be harder since it's not even good for dinner). I'm also keeping my eye on craigslist.

Thankfully I did manage to re-home 20 of my guineas I recently hatched. 17 is enough (might even be too many, but hubby wants em

I went to GVCM last october, but it was late in the day and all the poultry were packing up and leaving. My friends drive horses there. This year we will have to get there early to check out the poultry. Seemed pretty small, but I have only been to the state fair and that was pretty big.
