Somehow I can easily see myself in this position within the year, as I'm definitely addicted. I originally planned on half a dozen, will be up to 25 as of next week (I'm sensing a theme here), and honestly have no intention of stopping.

I have two acres going mostly unused - plenty of room!

I'm going to start telling people I've contracted Morehens Disease as suggested on another thread, as that's just awesome.

Morehens disease is SUPER contagious! Thanks!

Had to dispatch a little buckeye as he (note I said he) today. It is so hard to do that. I already have morehens disease. I wish we could sex them in the shell.

I had to have dh cull the silkie chick with the wry neck today. I couldnt do it. It wasnt improving at all even with all the intensive treatment it was getting. I feel horrible but it was even worse watching it struggle. I guess it goes with the territory if you have chickens or animals in general. I hope I never have to go through that again.

I only wish! my DH can't even kill spiders. I love him for it, but if there's euthanizing to be done, I have to do it. Ugh. I hate hate hate doing it, done it twice and felt horrible both times.

My dh gets the job because he has no attachment to the animal. I, on the otherhand, always get attached and just cant bring myself to do the deed. Besides, I dont want to mess it up and I know he will do it quickly and cleanly.
