There were a couple of nice birds, but if you want to go to a show & see a majority of nice birds, come to the Yankee Fall Classic mid Oc tober. There will be birds there from 5 different clubs. Definitely worth it.

question for the october show is it 2 days or one and is there a separate jr show?

and where would the best hotel be for a reasonable price?

I'm pretty sure its a 1 day show. Coop in either Sat or Sun morning.

Don't know about motels, I live close enought to drive & not have to stay over.

thanks i will research them. Syracuse is about a 5 hr drive or so for us but wanted try it. used to enjoy the grand finals rabbit show they had there but no longer have rabbits.

The kids would love to go and see the animals (and eat food) and look at exhibits (and the food)....ha, ha, ha....just glad to know not to expect a lot from the poultry barn!

Does anyone know of any youth poultry shows in CNY? My son is almost 7 and interested in joining 4-H and showing the birds. Can anyone point me in the right direction? We live in Madison County and have found a 4-H club, but I don't think there is a poultry show at the Madison Co. Fair. ANy thoughts? Thanks!
