There was suppose to be a ? after that...cuz it does, doesn't it... I really think i have only like say 30 chickens out there....my husband see 80...I will tell him he is adding wrong.

Brr! It was cold this morning! I love it!

My momma chicken even had her babies running around - they seemed to not mind.

Bring on the snow, my garden sucks this year anyways!

Will probably sell five OE/EE (7 mos old) girls in a few weeks - PM me if you are interested. Just no room and I don't wanna stress everyone out by throwing them in with others. One has a twisted foot and a limp but is otherwise fine.

They are all supposed to lay olive eggs, but only two actually do - the three all black ones lay brown eggs, the two blue ones lay the olive eggs. At least as far as I've been able to surmise.

My sister has some blue olive layers...1 and 2nd generation...they are beautiful and lay a nice olive egg...I hatched out a few this year...waiting for them to start laying.....it takes forever!!!

Actually my prettiest eggs (IMO) are from my two typical brown hatchery EE's - they lay pretty mint green eggs. Love those! Someone laying a speckled egg every day as well - not sure who that is.
