NY chicken lover!!!!

I have to drive to albany in a bit.

Herkimer County. The roads were snow covered and slippery. We had snow all day. There is 2-3 inches on the ground right now. No chicken footprints in the pen tonight. I think they stayed in today.

I wanted to stay in too.........brrrr

yes that is a tumbler we have several of them and german owls also they are very neat. its awesome to whatch them do flips and spins while there falling from the sky!!!

Do you let your Pigeons out daily? What is the routine for owing them and seeing their acrobatics? DH thinks that they go out, poop on the roof and do not fly around much. PLEASE give me good news about their behavior, DD and I would love to have some! Thanks!

yes we let them come and go as they please, they do like to poop on the roof lol but they also fly off for a while

My late brother was the president of the CNY Pigeon club or some club in this area. I was never into pigeons but he bought me my first chickens when I was younger. He was mostly into racing, but he had some "Fan tails" and "Tumblers/ Rollers" too. My Oldest brother was into them too. He's elderly now so he's gotten rid of his birds.

We used to love to watch them. My brothers birds were trained to come when he whistled for them.
