NY chicken lover!!!!

I'm thinking that the 3 of us can carpool out to the shindig, and have a great time on the way, share gas and tolls. I'm in if you 2 are. I'll even drive if you want.

I have posted the info that a couple of you asked about for the upcoming sale in Highland NY. Lots of stuff available, according to the latest update. I plan on going.

Cass--amen, Amen, AMEN!!!!

So redneck logging did not go as planned today. Got the wood moved but the log was another story. First, the comealong wasnt heavy enough. The log kept rolling and almost rolled on me. Then we had to get a bigger comealong. Oh--a ford ranger DEFINATELY doesnt work for pulling such a huge log. We finally got it moved just beyond the concrete supports for the new coop and I only rolled my ankle twice, fell once and missed the log rolling on me. Did I mention I like to live dangerously?? Hehe. It turned out nice today and all the cheeps enjoyed a very full afternoon of freeranging. DH and I are now covered in pain reliet creme so we can work tomorrow. Who says we cant take care of stuff ourselves???

Rancher--nice garden. Wish I could grow stuff. I kill everything.

Hey Henicillin--does this mean you get to go with her and enable her (oop, I meant help her) pick out chickens for her coop??? She will need an assortment of course. Cant have just one breed. I am sure there are some thay you would like if you had the room so she could add them to her flock for you!!! Just a suggestion.

Cass--I will keep you in mind if we do this again. I tend to be a one person wrecking crew of myself.

Ginny--dont feel too bad this am. Of course, I havent realy moved all that much yet either. I have the arnica gel, mineral ice and ibuprophen on standby,

I hope everyone got out yesterday and enjoyed the weather. I think it helped me with my afflictions. I feel somewhat better anyways. My cheeps were very happy tearing through the woods eating everything they could. Their crops looked like they were going to explode.They stayed out and played till 7pm.

3 weeks till the babies come!!!!
