NY chicken lover!!!!

I emailed Sundown Silkies and I also emailed the link someone gave me to someone in NY with Silkies. Right now I'm actually living right outside of Albany. I'll be here until June 20th or so. Then I'll be moving 20 minutes south of Syracuse in the Lafayette/Tully area. From now until June, I'll be making a couple of trips to CT to visit family as thats where we are originally from. So I've been searching in CT as well. But if anyone would like to contact me via email they can at [email protected]. Thanks so much everyone! I knew there was a reason I joined BYC LOL
 
Hi everybody, I'm new from washington county, NY. Anyone else here live in my county? I'm especially in love with silkies, so if anybody else had silkies around me, that would be great. Especially if you had hatching eggs or pullets to sell ;)

the person I know is right in Nassau. Real close to you!
 
I'll be passing by there this weekend (to and from CT), April 6th, April 10th, and then one more time April 20th and April 22nd. Wonder if she'll have any available around that time or at least some eggs I can try hatching?

I go to the auction right near you almost every week in Schuylerville. I'm in rennsalear county though.

I'm in the same boat - Living in Albany right now but I'll be moving 20 mins south of Syracuse and I am currently looking for silkies as well. I will let you know if I come across any because I can by all means bring some up to Syracuse as I will be up there at least every other weekend from now until June.

Just looked up Washington County and saw you're just past Saratoga. Maybe we can help each other out if either of us comes across silkies?

A fox carried Claire, my nicest hen away this evening. And an hour and a half we saw a fox running across the yard toward the house and coop again. The second one looked bigger. Poor Claire.
