there was a story a few years back... don't know where it came from, but the couple was splitting up. he had a new girlfriend and his soon to be ex wife wanted the house, but the new girlfriend wanted it... so Wife... took raw shrimp, and stuck them inside the curtain rods. eventually, the smell drove them out, they said the ex wife could have the house after all, and they packed up everything, including the curtains, and the rods.

I doubt it's a true story... it's funny tho' even if it's fake... but that would bring lots of maggots, maybe the old tenant was a food hoarder and kept a sammy hidden in the vent?

just shot a large cat after the chickens. Either a large bobcat or a Canadian Lynx. Through the scope only...hard to tell when you only see it for 3 seconds. It jumped in the swamp to die. I'm not going to look forr it to identify it.

26 miles south east of Albany.A few hours east of you. Similar looking area to Canandaigua We also have at least one Mountain lion. A friend saw one jump in my yard one night at 10pm. These predators are everywhere. I called a friend. We take the walk around the property next week so he can trap. We need the coyote population brought way down. Coons I have done well with. Killed 13 this year so far. But mybuddy is going to trap coyotes, foxes and the big wild cats. 3pm approaches near the house are going to end!

I traded these for an enormous ~ humongous ~ tarp to cover my enclosure... never thought I'd get "full value" for my eggs...

I figure they are still worth about $10 a piece for all the $$ i've sunk into the project... that tarp has to be worth $120 if not more...

That is tempting, but I would hold off till they are older. If they are eating and drinking, I wouldn't rock the boat and possibly throw off their digestive system.

So sorry Tab, I can't imagine what it's like to have given him life and lost him. You have to think that you gave him a wonderful life for his short time.
