I have purchased all my birds from folks that I feel have "quality" stock and I have worked (am working) hard to improve traits by introducing from other stock etc. There are people I know, however, that do not want to pay a lot for chickens as they just want them for their kids, for eggs only or just to look at until winter comes and they disappear into the sunset.... I just wanted others opinions on where they would be most likely to get "good/healthy" birds at a price they would consider more "reasonable".....

im not exactly sure, i was somewhat distracted by chicks the whloe time i was making it, he was cheeping like mad. the glitter makes it look magical to bad my tablet dosent agree with shiny sparkles

I don't want to order from a hatchery, I have a couple friends who do not want to pay much for chicks and I did not know what hatchery to recommend to them. I thought someone may know where they could get some healthy birds from a hatchery.

There is an area here on BYC that gives hatchery feedback. I know some are more recommended than others.

just paint and egg shell thats why it took so long so i could give it time to dry every time i put more shell on

DID I MENTION these are ALL shipped from CPL, DmRippy, duramax?????? I had all but 2 of the maran that were fertile hatch, and one of those was deformed and the other died after pip.
