~Oblivion~ {A Fantasy RP}

Harrison shyly said "I thought about being a warrior, but..." He leaned closer, looking warily around. "They rejected me. Apparently I suck at following orders." he rolled his eyes.

Iris admitted softly, "Same here. So they stationed me alone, with nobody around me for miles by the border. It's like they want me to get killed." It was embarrassing to admit for her, but here she was doing it anyway.

( @HoodedHuntress I am not going to dig to find Yael so I will just start a new post since its been so long. I will just skip to the morning ok? )

Yael woke the next morning early and began working on making breakfast for them. She made a porridge that while it looked terrible was actually quite filling and had a pleasant flavor. She also made some tea that was steeping in a pot and re-hydrated and cooked up some of the meat with some seasonings to make it taste better. She glanced over to the young Dust wondering what the girl had dream about.
(HOW did I not reply to this?)
Erin awoke with a groggy yawn, awoken from a rather pleasant dream. She rolled over to see Yael awake, and murmured tiredly "You sure get up early."

Iris didn't respond
Harrison put his hand on her shoulder. "I don't want you to get killed." he said softly, the words coming unbidden to his lips.
Iris didn't answer. She looked at him in a state of confusion. Her feelings were a storm of what she wanted to feel and what she didn't. But he seemed to care about her, and she cherished that. And she cherished him. With a sharp breath of fear, she leaned forward, kissing him softly. She returned to her position on the chair, looking down so to avoid his piercing gaze.
