~Oblivion~ {A Fantasy RP}

(Every time a writer uses the word 'intricate' an artist has to spend 2 extra hours drawing the thing... if it's like, a movie or something. Does that make sense? Nevermind.)

"Ow! Quit pecking me. I said I'm sorry." Neo said.
"You could have killed me." The parrot grumbled.
"Oh, quit being so dramatic. So I got up too fast and you fell. Big deal."
"Fell? You threw me across the room."
"Yeah, well..." Neo glanced around, and a chill ran up his spine. Where was everyone? He slowed, head spinning in every direction. The bird noticed it, too, and grew silent. His feathers pulled close to his body. They both lighted on a tree, oblivious of the girl flying not twenty feet away.
Xyla knew she shouldn't, but her fighting instincts commanded her to. She shouted as the panther rushed her. She threw a throwing knife into its head, wincing as it left and slashed her strong abs. She laid back on the ground, bleeding and in sever pain, with a dead panther beside her. With a cry of pain she got to her knees and weakly stood up, trying to hobble her way back to her border, sobbing softly even though she was controlling the pain the best she could.

Yael chuckled, she had been a child once, she had had no training once. However she had had a very different upbringing compared to this girl. She sighed and shook her head. "I'm not going to hurt you, I draw the line at killing children, even those nearing adulthood. And if your going to be traveling about you should probably get yourself a better weapon. Come on." She said with a shrug as she flew into the nearby woods. She didn't really care if she followed but if she did then the girl might actually get something out of it. Like a weapon from her secret stash.
Erin followed slowly, unsure if it was trap. She gripped her weapon nervously, not asking any questions but simply obeying. She had found a possible benefactor, and wasn't abut to deny the help, if there was any. However, she made sure to float a safe distance behind Yael. She stated softly "I'm Erin, if you want to know."

Neo heard twigs snap, then a scream. His eyes darted to the ground. A cat. And the girl. Blood- ohh no. No no. He glanced to the parrot, are you seeing this, too? his eyes seemed to ask. The bird had wilfed to half his normal size. Yep, he saw it, too.
Surely he could find an adult? But you are an adult. His conscience growled. Well, a more adult-y adult then! His heart pounded in his chest as he stared down at the angel. The fact that it was a girl wasn't making it any easier on his nerves. And a pretty girl at that.
He glanced around one last time, hoping against hope that someone would be there.
But of course there wasn't. Deep breath. Jump.

Xyla clenched her teeth together, tears rolling down her face as she crumpled to the floor a few yards away from the boundary. She glanced behind her at the Spirit who was following her, and began scooting away, immediately trying to stop crying and hide her weakness from him. As she bent her abs to scoot away some more, pain erupted and she fell flat on the floor, looking in horror as he approached. She hoped he wouldn't kill her, that was all. She couldn't do anything else now but look as he approached.

Dead leaves spiraled into the air as he landed beside her. He swallowed the lump in his throat. Ohh gosh. She was even prettier up close. Control yourself, Neo. Be cool. Digest those butterflies.
His mind went blank when she fell. She needed help. Not just a pat on the back and a 'you'll be okay' kind of thing. "Hey." His voice cracked. He cleared his throat. "Hey, it's gonna be alright. Calm down." Though he wasn't sure who he was trying to reassure: himself or the girl.

Yael rolled her eyes, "You need to grow a spine if your going to last out here." She stated as she came up to the cache she lowered herself to the ground and removed the cover over the hole. She tucked her wings in close and dropped into the hole and moved over to where she kept the weapons pulling the cloth off of them for her too look at. "Well get down here and take a look, you can have your pick." She said with a smirk as she stood back in the small hallow and crossed her arms.

Charlotte heard Clio scream and flew to her, flopping next to her. "Hey, what's wrong?" she asked. Clio didn't look up, just kept crying.

Xyla looked up at him, scanning his eyes quickly. Could she trust him? She tried to scoot back some more, falling limp once again. The pain was surging now. She wiped away her tears quickly, praying he was benign and didn't want her dead. She looked up at him, his mottled face somewhat hidden by his long hair. She began controlling her breathing as she kept her eyes and attention on him.
