(Lolll.) Xyla asked before he left, "Will we see each other again after dinner tonight? I would like that very much, but that's just me." She studied his face and expressions, hoping that they would translate that he did, but she could only hope. For once she didn't feel lonely. She had found someone she liked and cared or and who did so back, and that was something she wanted to keep.
(You don't have to be lonelyyy at farmers only dot com!)
He grinned. She was so cute. Though he wondered if there was another side to her. Why did she live in this ground hut outside of the the village? Why was she afraid of doctors? And why, above all things, did she seem to like him? She hadn't flinched when she heard his name. Everyone knew about Neo the klutz, not fit to rule a toadstool let alone a whole tribe. Maybe he should start paying more attention in his lessons....
He lofted up, dead leaves flying off the ground with the force of the wind. "I'll be counting the hours." He said, trying to sound at least a little princely.

(Should we skip to dinner, or do you have something in mind?)

(I would say skip, if that's fine.)

Horius unleashed three arrows into the neck and head of the third one, realizing slowly their invisibility had run out. ANd that the third man was sprinting towards Silver. He sprinted, daggers in hand towards the back of the last target, as he dove toward Silver. Horius grabbed a hold of his armor, pulling him up before him, driving his dagger into the side of his neck as he did so, blood splattering on his face. He coughed in an attempt to wipe it off, but his face was still mostly red.

Silver looked slightly annoyed that Horius decided to take the last one which was clearly coming to her but she kept a neutral expression and just let Horius kill the Scavenger.

Neo flew home, head in the clouds, heart in his throat. This was the single greatest day in the history of ever. It was just the sun, the sky, and Xyla. He said her name aloud again, and wondered for a moment how one might spell it. It might be a good thing to know. Maybe to start a letter with, or scribble on a brown paper package. It sounded much like it started with a Z, or maybe Xzy? Maybe he could ask the scribe later.

The trees flowed beneath like the meadows of Ireland. A rather bumpy and noisy meadow. With lots of holes in it that lead down to the actual ground, but a meadow nonetheless. The clamor of birds and insects far below lent an ambient hum, and the wind- oh the wind. It was choppy and tossed him in a way that made it hard to fly straight, and very easy do do stupid things. Which, of course, was exactly what he did.

When he got home he was positively giddy. He landed on the hometree and greeted a passerby with a much-to-enthusiastic 'hello!' before darting up the branch to his room.

The door consisted of wooden boards, clinging together by rope and faith. His fingers brushed the handle, only to find it already open. Clothes, carved things, and half-eaten food stuffs lay strewn about the room. The only visible floor was a patch leading from the door to the bed, which wasn't much more than a mattress on the floor. A figure stood at the window, hands folded neatly behind his wings, facing the window. "You're home." was all he said.
Uh-oh, Neo thought, "Hey, dad." He said, kicking a few shirts into the corner.
His father was positively not giddy.

(Will post more tomorrow. Sorry, got to bed.)

Horius spat at the floor, before wiping his face again. He pulled out another scroll and began reading it, his next mission. But he also had to make the choice whether to bring her or not.
