~Oblivion~ {A Fantasy RP}

Lelani drew back her last shot from the bow. With a sigh she retrieved the arrows and flew back home. At home she put the weapon in it's hiding place and looked out the window. Her mother wasn't home, neither was her father. She couldn't fight she had been told, because she was a twelve year old girl. She drew her cloak closer around her and sighed once more. Then an idea formed in her head. She slept, then before dawn approached, she got out of bed. She grabbed her bow and arrows from the nook. She opened the window and flew out of it. Her long, black hair flowing all around her. Her lavender eyes scanning her surroundings. She had to find the battlegrounds... she just had to. That is, if she ever wanted to fight to protect her family and her people. Then she said out loud, "They say I can't fight? Well I can. All I ever wanted was to protect my people so I wouldn't have to cower inside of my house all day long! To get a chance to protect the people I love on my own... instead of just hoping that everything turns all right. Where I get to decide whether they come out safe or not. That's what it means to fight in battle. And no one's too young or too weak for that." And without another word she flew onward, not really knowing where she was going, all she knew was that she wanted to have a companion, and she wanted to be in battle. She did not want glory... just the satisfaction of actually knowing for certain that everyone was safe. However, she never considered the fact that she might not have the heart to kill anyone...

(I ate her

With a side of sparkly bubbles)

Harrison looked at the girl at his side in surprise. He wasn't sure what to do, but his arm inched around her as more tears escaped. He sniffed, trying to regain his lost manliness, and turned back to her. "What about you? What's your story?"

Elytra finished reloading her backpack and looked expectantly at Pierre.

Iris sobbed softly "My father was a Scavenger, and my mother was an Oracle. I ended up being an Oracle, and my father was not happy. He never talked to me, and murdered my mother when I was 14." She leaned into him, having nobody else to do so.

(I is here.)
Harrison wasn't sure what to say. Even after all he had been through, at least his memories remained untarnished. He looked at her with newfound respect. "How do you make it through the day? I hide behind the facade of my work, trying to find out why my parents would sacrifice them for that rock."

Iris sobbed, still crying some, choking out the words as best she could "I pretend it never happened. And now, I have no reason to pretend anymore. It did happen. And I can't deny it anymore. Or survive knowing it happened."

(Side note, but I really dislike Spanish class.)
Harrison's tears began flowing more freely, regardless of his efforts to stem them. "I don't pretend-I forget. About my life before the tragedy. About the fact that I have feelings other than diligence."

(me toooooooooo)
Iris looked up at him, seeing both of their faces covered in tears. How broken they were. Crashed wrecks, floating around for no good. She didn't know what else to do. She obviously had an emotional connection with him, they were both broken down, and all they had was each other. But Iris didn't know if he was bold enough to make a move, because she definitely couldn't anymore.
