Admittedly, he had made it more awkward by not kissing him when she had submitted herself to that, and now looming suspicions grew in her mind. She fought them, fended them off, remembering how he had saved her, but there was that inch of confusion she had towards him. Maybe he didn't like her like that. And if that was the case, they could just be friends, she supposed.He blinked. It wasn't until then that he realized how lonely she must be. But surely she had someone? He toyed with his cape's paws. "Do you... want to come now? I mean..." he wasn't sure what he was doing. He had been to the border and back, and carried her all the way back to her hut. Not to mention his arms were sore, but there was no way he was going to admit that. But carrying meant more touching, and that made him uncomfortable. But then, hadn't this whole day been just one big bundle of nerves? Maybe if he flew, it would be faster.
