My friend has a what we were told was a Gold laced Wyandotte, and she does look to be pure, her lacing looks neat, rose comb (I believe), and the black butts. But she's the only one out of 2 others in a pen that they've/ we've seen in a box trying to lay, now we haven't seen her lay but we check pretty often and shes usually the one in the box. If it is her, she's laying blue eggs, how could she look pure yet lay blue eggs? Is that possible? Or is it most likely another hen?
She looks like this hen (not her), same amount of gold, i see most have more black so thats why i specified.
But her comb looks like this, which looks like a rose comb on a wyandotte rooster, hens are different, but she is no rooster, so how come her comb is like that of a roo's?
