It is so interesting to read all the walks of life us chicken folks are treading.
I have been: Horse trainer, street performer ( juggling) floral designer... Went to art school, grad school and now am a landscape architect, I design sites for hospitals and medical office buildings 45 hours a week and do residential landscapes on the side. Bee keeper/honey/candle soap seller. Pet slave and chicken tv watcher.

my before life ive been a fisherman, logger, rock crusher operator, fiberglasser, yacht builder, yacht painter, managed a redemption center ( returnable cans and bottles) manager of the 2cnd largest family dollar distribution warehouse, clam digger

and many others,,, lol,, i think i like my present day workings lol

I'm self employed as a brickmason got 11 working for me or as I tell people I run an adult daycare and we do brick and block on the side ,because their problems become mine most of the time,and we raise pasture raised beef,chickens,turkeys,eggs .And one day real soon i hope thats will be my full time job.

Spring summer and fall I work for a company that lays utility pipe and builds roads. Sometimes I get to run heavy equipment while I do it. Other times I just run a shovel, but it more than pays the bills. In the winter I am a stay at home dad.

I agree with what another member said about all the different walks of life, its very interesting! Great topic!
Even how small others may make us feel with trivial jobs, be it disabled, baggers, wait staff or "just" a mom , for those that belong on a pedestal, doctors, nurses, builders and rocket scientist, I raise my cup to each and every one of you for making this world a better place. For all of those that speak up for the "lesser" people, accepting each other for what we are and are becoming by the effects of each other in this world.
