By training, I am a marine biologist/ecologist specializing in coral reefs.

By current profession, I write safety assessments for cosmetic ingredients.

I would rather be doing what I was trained to do.

I am a house wife, hoping to become a mama in the near future, mama now to just several fur kids, and I breed coturnix and button quails in many colors.

I am an amature photographer (must be genetic, many of my relatives on my moms side are in the photography bus).

I used to model when I was younger, have no interest to start that up again. Worked a various stores, blah blah snore snore....

Am planning to become a certified canine massage therapist, and if it works out well a certified equine massage therapist as well. I'd go for horses first but being that I don't own one, or have one locally to train on lol...it's dogs first

I also want to write and illistrate a childrens book about animals.....my hs art teacher said i'm made for it...and I do have a passion for it, but everything I start to write i never finish:

i fish, i hunt, love working with graphics online, I haven't truely found my "calling" yet but i really feel excited about becoming a certified massage therapist for my favorite living things

My hubbys the breadwinner, he this upcoming february will be offically a driller of his own rig!!!! Finnally we'll get to start house searching making SURE we get atleast a few acres of land for my farm needs!

Interesting to see all the different occupations on here. I have a degree in Sociology with a minor in Journalism, but the job market is horrible right now for those professions, so for the past ?? (not going to say the number) years I have been a Food Distribution Engineer.....AKA I'm a waitress and so is my fiance. We met 3 years ago in the restaurant we work in now.

I am a Domestic Goddess! I figure with 6 kids and 1 grand I have earned that title!

Previously I worked at a psychiatric facility for troubled youth. I worked there for almost 14 years........but it was finally time to stay home and be with the kids.

Hubby is retired from the Army Corps or Engineers after a 40 year run! He is a licensed home inspector and does home remodeling to keep himself busy (and bring in a little bit more money).

Life is Good!

I'm a wildlife biologist. I specialize in birds, particularly songbirds in riparian areas. So only a small leap to keeping a chicken as a pet...

I am also editor of a local Audubon Society newsletter, and occasionally teach bellydance classes.

In a former life I was a massage therapist. And before that, a barista.

Yes (at least in Pa.) you can be buried on your own ground, especially a cremation. If a box is required by the crematory they or the funeral home will provide it...at a cost. lol
A direct cremation here where we live can be as little as $900.
Maybe we do need a thread for this like Miss Prissy suggested! lol
