Octagon 20 ECO w/autoturn cradle OR Genesis 1588 w/egg turner??

There are some very "experienced" "experts" here who reccomend hatching chicks at 102 F forced air, then when questioned saying that they are not sure if their thermometer is correct.

Sorry for all newbees taking this kind of "advice".

Bella, forgive me for hijacking for a sec please.
I am getting ready to order a Octagon 20 ECO.
I'm not sure if I should also purchase the wet bulb thermometer Brinsea sells to go with it.
I want to do everything right, but the $32.99 price tag on the thermometer is making me ask this question.
Thanks.

Thanks! Y'all can look forward to many more questions from me. 'course it's y'alls fault I'm getting a bator in the first place, so fair is fair.

Brinsea ECO, excellent choice, I would not spend money on wet bulb thermomether, you can get quality relative humidity hygrometer for
$5.00 shipped:

http://cgi.ebay.com/Analog-Hygromet...ryZ11675QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

It is all metal and glass construction, size of a mans watch, can be easily calibrated, will fit into your ECO 20.

Eco 20 is an "idiot proof" bator, you set it and forget it.

For day 1-18 fill 1 well with water, then for hatch day 18-21 fill 2 wells with water.

It worked for my location, moderately humid West Cost of Fl.

If you live in extreme dry or extreme humid location, then you need to make adjustments to this.
