Yes, you can hope! My next door neighbor is very interested in my new chicks. They looked up the Blue Australorps on the web to see what they look like as adults, and want my pullets and maybe even a cockerel too out of my hatch.

Oh, my poor little black Silkie (hatched out of a shipped egg with a huge saddle shaped air cell) was wobbly when he was brand new. Now,(2nd day) he has a leg going out to the side and can't seem to walk well. I think I may have to make a brace. I have never done this.

Oh no, does it have spraddle leg? That is so easily fixed with a bandaid or bit of tape. Just search " spraddle leg" on BYC!

It looked like just one leg splaying out, rather than the classic spraddle leg. However, I did search it and used the bandaid method. Hope it helps the poor little chick!

One bad leg is better than two!! I am sure you have them on a non-slip surface, I remember seeing the shelf liner in your incubator : )
