26 of my 28 have hatched! I candled the other two this morning and there is still movement in one! Maybe it's just a late bloomer. I'm so excited!

I'm on day 19 and sitting on my hands now to stop myself from breaking lockdown. Started with 14 and down to 11 on lockdown.. c'mon little babies!

Had 8 chicks hatch today 10/1...4 are Columbian Wyandotte and 3 are Delaware Bantams and 1 OEGB. Will get pictures.
Moved 18 to lockdown for hatch on 10/4......
Set 18 for hatch on 10/21.

Delaware bantams sound cool! Do they grow as fast as the standard variety? My boy grew like twice the speed of all my other chickens.

Yay a pip, now I'm gonna be up all night checking up on it.

I kept setting my alarm and would go down every few hours. Lets just say I didn't get much sleep, especially when they were hatching.

I totally understand how you are feeling! I thnk as Human I've gone broody!!! Woke up this morning to hearing cheeping coming from the incubator!!! I don't see any pips yet though. The wait is almost unbearable. Hehe

I put the newly hatched chicks on my belly and they love the sound of my heart beating and the feel of my breathing. It is so cute! Yep, I think I've gone broody too.

Just had my first Blue Andalusian hatch wheee! It is go time LOL
