I'm on day 19 and sitting on my hands now to stop myself from breaking lockdown. Started with 14 and down to 11 on lockdown.. c'mon little babies!

Ugg so i moved where my thermometer was in my incubator and intead of reading 101 it was reading 104. Im freaking out right now worried that I just killed them

Have a staggered hatch due to throwing three eggs from my hens when fired up incubator and put in the other 18 in 5 days later when arrived in the mail. Candled the three tonite see red veins and a spot does that mean are viable? Been in for seven days not counting
Day where put in since was late so counted
from next day for a full 24hrs

29 hours After the first pip?

Finally after 29 hours this little egg has finally decided to zip!

I put the newly hatched chicks on my belly and they love the sound of my heart beating and the feel of my breathing. It is so cute! Yep, I think I've gone broody too.
yes you definitely have! My first pip was at 12 and I just got my second at 9pm... right on schedule! First pip has gotten a little larger but no new ones on that shell! Going to be hard to sleep tonight

Calm down. I've had mine go over 110 a few time n a couple managed to survive.. just turn it to where it needs to be and keep an eye on it.
