Gathering eggs for hatching this week! Anyone else going to hatch fall chicks? I can't wait to see those little balls of fluff!

Yeah. My hens are doing the same. My fav hen decided to go broody three days ago, but still laying. Hope my broody breaking method worked in time to stop the hormones...

we already have a batch in the incubator today is the seventh day super excited to see how many frizzle cochins I hatch due to hatch on September 24

Awesome! I've got 10 so far. They should hatch the 30th of this month. Mayhaps the first day of October.

Not yet!!! I'm gettin alittle impatient but I've also noticed mating has slowed down also lol so idk if I'm gana have eggs before winter

Not broody, but they are both starting to molt
