12 chicks in the brooder. 1 damp SPLASH! chick still in the incubator. 3 eggs not yet hatched.
The new brooder guard setup looks so small in my huge brooder. But it holds the plate, the food, and the water.

@3KillerBs congrats on the SPLASH!!! I'm so happy u got one finally!
I hope it's a boy, but a girl would be OK because she'd be very likely to hatch a splash son.
Splash is dry and fluffy so out of the incubator and into the brooder for him.

Precious! U go BOY!!!
Candled the lil cochin eggs...all 5 look healthy and "kickin"! Air cells didn't get any worse...what are the odds of them hatching with saddled aircells? Am I sending these lil babies to their death?!

I’ve had plenty of chicks hatch with saddled air cells without problems.Precious! U go BOY!!!
