October Hatch-A-Long

We are new to this in every aspect. I've done a ton of reading and a neighbor gave us 9 of her chicken eggs. Day 21 will be oct 3rd so hope I'm doing this right. I have them in an incubator with water in the channels and temp is btwn 99.5 and 101. My daughter is super excited as am I. I'd love to see them hatch and be able to share it with the girls in our Girl Scout troop.

My day 21 is October 5th, so I will be looking to you for predictions. I am new in every aspect, too!

I've set 6 Isabella Brahma bantams and 6 Gold lace Orpington bantams this, can't wait for first candeling. All weighed and ploted on the chart, next weigh in in 3 days time.

Exciting birch wood!

I'm still waiting for my eggs. If they don't get here tomorrow they will be at the PO over the weekend. If they do get here that's still 4 days in transit so fingers crossed.

WOW! I hope it goes well!

I got ten Black Australorp eggs off ebay that showed up yesterday. Also have a dozen barnyard mix I got from a neighbor. I will be putting them in the incubator this afternoon. Hopefully I'll have a better hatch rate than I did in the September hatch along, but I will be happy with any chicks I get. Here's hoping for everyone's hatches!

Well I've successfully made it 6 days without candling.......day 7 tomorrow!!!!!! I can't wait to see those little bouncing blobs! Who has day 7 tomorrow with me?????
