I am by no means an expert but I think if the egg got hot enough incubation wwoud=ld have started earlier. explains early hatch. So, does it affect the eggs and incubation when it's hot outside even though they are brought indoors and "rested" before incubation? Because my chicks were supposed to hatch on Monday/Tuesday. I went to put the eggs on lock down this morning and I had two chicks already hatched, one egg zipped, and at least 3 pipped. I don't even have the brooder set up! Half of the eggs are from my flock and were gathered daily, but some were gathered later in the day, in the heat of Tennessee late summer. The rest were shipped but were also from Tennessee. I kept the eggs in my cool pantry until they were incubated.
