Hi all. I just put 3 Turken mix eggs in my incubator yesterday, will be adding 25 shipped eggs next week.

Yes all Turken mixes from @Compost King and those in the incubator now are from @BlueBaby and her new roo.

If you hatch any pullet's from those 3 green egg's, they might lay a deeper shade of green than the one's that I gave you to hatch. You might have to get some ham then, so you can have green egg's and ham for breakfast.

I candeld my eggs today there all alive, well at least the ones in the incubator.

I'm going to check the ones under the mother hen.

I finally got the nerve to candle and sooo many are completely clear: infertile. Total bummer. The Gold Laced ones are mostly all infertile. One is iffy. One looks weird and kinda freaky so prob rotten or dead lol. Those were the ones that one was weeping and 2 got thrown out on arrival becayse they smelled bad. Many of the Isabels and Choc Cuckoos are clear too. Whats wrong w these xtra fluffy butt English Orpingtons? I wonder if they are too fluffy and dont actually make contact when they mate? Maybe someone should trim their butts
