It definitely doesn't have the regular barred rock markings. I notice that the comb is a little more pointed than the other two. Gender wise is it still too early to tell? It's a spunky little one for sure.Very interesting!

Are all of your barred rocks pictured? I see two cockerels in one photo, one of which is darker and could be a barred rock mix. Also, the only hen I see in your pictures is actually a Dominique due to her rose comb.Hi everyone. I finally decided to hatch out eggs from my barred rock chickens. I started with three eggs. The other two hatched out with the normal black and yellow coloration. This little one just hatched it looks like it will be pure white. I can't see very much black on it at all. How is this chick going to feather out? I only have barred rocks so I was confused when this little one hatched out! Here's some photos of the parents and of the chick.
