Here are the two eggs that my hens laid today. They haven't been laying well for the past few weeks. My husband sprayed a herbicide on the yard and I think it did something to the hens.
The large egg has a very thin shell and when I broke it open the yolk was odd shaped; not round and had a sandpaper finish. The tiny egg didn't have a yolk. Has anyone experienced anything like this? I don't know what to do.

    Thanks,
    Kathy

The tiny one is a fart egg. They occasionally happen and typically don't have yolks. The other is just a thin shelled egg - I sometimes get them too. Just make sure your girls have access to oyster shell.
