We have a Black Japanese Bantam that is about a year old now. When we first got her, she was laying an egg almost every day but recentlyhas been laying an egg everyday for about a week every month or so and then she will just stop. And then about a month later she will do the same thing. She is usually very broody so would that effect her egg production? We also have two Easter Egger hens, a Cuckoo Maran hen, and a Barred rock hen and they all lay either everyday or every-other day.
