My 4 year old sleep walked in the middle of the night, I would find him playing with his monster trucks. One morning I got up, cleaned the house, made breakfast, (enjoying the lack of kid under foot) and then went to wake everyone up. The baby was not in his bed, the house, or the yard. I freaked out and woke up his daddy and uncle. After an exaustive search, we found him asleep in the garage, UNDER THE TRUCK!!
Then there is my 15 month-old. He LOVES the chickens. It may have been his first word. On Sunday (about 4 am) I heard him crying, so I poked my husband and asked him to go get him. I hear my husband get up, open the kid's door, walk into the living room, then "WHAT THE $%$##?!" The back door had been unlocked and was WIDE open. He found the baby 100 feet from the house, shaking the door of the coop with all his might, SCREAMING at the top of his lungs. He was barefoot and had taken off his diaper: completely asleep. Oddly, none of the chickens were crowing.
Can you say, "cane bolted doors"?
