Odd Shaped Egg

I just gathered a very odd shaped egg today. It's almost pointed on one end and a little dented in the middle. It looks more like a potato than an egg. Anyone have any idea what caused this?

That's funny

I've niticed that I get really pointy eggs like that when a hen doesn't lay for a day. Especially the day after it rains all day long. I always get low production on rainy days and really pointy eggs the next.

That is interesting because we got a big rainstorm two days ago. It's also been very hot and humid so about two weeks ago I started supplementing their layer ration with a higher protein (28%) game bird ration.
