Found this today inside was a normal yoke and whites you can see the egg itself is shaped with a convex protrusion around the hole and an almost dark or burn look to it

Not necessarily. I have a hen that lays super thin shells and they often have a hole like this.Thank you, is it dangerous or mean the chicken is unhealthy?

I had a similar egg. Two actually from a newly laying pullet. She also laid an egg (with hard shell) within another hard shelled egg. Very strange stuff from that girl. She lays perfectly normal eggs now.

She may be ramping down production for the molt and winter break.
You can get some funky around that time.
