Oddly shaped egg with hole?

Found this today inside was a normal yoke and whites you can see the egg itself is shaped with a convex protrusion around the hole and an almost dark or burn look to it

This came from a new layer, correct?
I had a similar egg. Two actually from a newly laying pullet. She also laid an egg (with hard shell) within another hard shelled egg. Very strange stuff from that girl. She lays perfectly normal eggs now.

No she’s been laying for a few years , always very nice big thick shelled eggs

What breed is she?
Cold still be a glitch.
She may be ramping down production for the molt and winter break.
You can get some funky around that time.
