Of Feathers And Flames- A Wings of Fire AU RP

Roe listened silently, then turned to Tobias. "We are organizing a transport group. We plan to take fifty or more out by the 20th. That gives us two days until jailbreak. We need money to buy those dragons."
Tobias nodded. "K. I'll send Monzy a check."
Roe smiled gratefully. "Thank you, August. Did you want.. Sol to get on that group?"
Tobias glanced at the red dragon, "Yeah. Yeah, sure, but I'll help with the shipment, then. I don't want to leave him."
"Of course. I am afraid we are packing these trucks full. It.. it is very tight, but we need to get them out. If they are willing to make it through the drive, freedom is directly on the other side."
Tobias nodded solemnly. "Yes. I'll help. There's a sale tomorrow night. I'll buy what I can, they can stay here for the night."
Roe sighed with relief, "This is truly wonderful, Tobias. Thank you so very much."
Tobias smiled gently, "Yes, yea. But we're still trying to raise money? Within the next two weeks?"
"Through the arena, yes." Roe answered. "My RainWings are competing in the Team Rally. That should get us do fifty grand, assuming all goes well."
Tobias turned to Shrike, Kapok, and Dred. "Well, then, boyyyys. Up to you, but, I guess they- we could use the help." He shrugged goofily. "Eclipse, you as well. You could be a HUGE help with raising money. But again- up to you."
Eclipse turned Tobias' words over in her mind for a moment, her head cocked toward the ceiling as she thought. "You want me to fight other prisoners to make money..." she drawled slowly. "But, it's for helping others escape. Do I have to kill anyone? Can I use my warping?" She glanced at Tobias' friend before the human answered. "Also, do you know what a dragon hunter or other human might have done with a piece of jewelry they picked off a hunt?"

I literally thought I would have missed so much more than this lol, but I still have some catching up to do. So are Whitestar, Alyssia, Blackout, Apple, and Bamboo gonna attack the limo and stuff where Austin is at?
probably soon!!! I may write it in the morning now bc i tend to have a bit more inspo then lol idk why

Wanda stumbled back, ushering Qi'ra towards her and Jyn. "There- there is a rebellion," she started, a cautious edge to her voice. "We are apart of it. Stronger together." Wanda swallowed hard, hearing the doors open behind her.
People rushed into the arena, guns raised as they fanned out, all pointed at the LunarWing. Roe urgently called from the doorway, and Jyn rushed to her side, the others close behind.
"Was it magic?" Qi'ra whispered as they stared.
Jyn watched as a trigger was pulled, a tranq dart smacking into the silver dragon.
She cleared her throat. "I don't know."

(✋ I vote Neoma goes ham on the humans.)
Neoma listened in slight shock. Yes, she had said she would join any rebellion there was, but she wasn't actually sure there would be one.
As the other dragons moved away from her, she stared at them.
Briefly and subtly, she nodded. "I'm in." She muttered, then jumped as a door burst open and humans poured in.
What?! Ohhh.... the needles.... yep figured they wouldn't enjoy that, she thought.
She watched as in the background, the others rushed to a human beckoning them.
If they're with the humans, how can I trust them?
Her mind reeled at the fact that there was a human being kind to the dragons. It was clear that the human they had run to was not there to hurt them.... but really all Neoma knew from humans was cruelty. In the past days, she had encountered them for the first time and realized how terrible they were to dragons.
But maybe not all of them were so bad-
And then she was distracted, due to a needle in her side. In her thoughts, she hadn't quite registered that she was fully surrounded.
"Ow." She mumbled distractedly, and her Warping formed a little lever that she lazily placed against her side and popped it out before the serum could sink into her flesh.
"Anyways..." She continued with a shrug. "Now that I know there's no one here I should avoid hurting; well, let's just say if one of you folks know dragonese- you're about to go home sore."
She opened her wings and spun fast, knocking over many of the closer humans. Her tail swung out, taking care of more bystanders.
A human took out a metal spear and stabbed at her wing as it passed her, and Neoma yanked her wing out of the way. Her teeth closed over the metal spear, yanking it out of the humans hands and tossing it to the side. She heard a yell and knew it must've hit someone. Suddenly, a sharp pain stung in her talon. She looked down and saw red streaming from a very small gash in her foot.
Her head raised slowly to stare at the human now trying to hit her again.
"Bad idea." She laughed humorlessly.
She loosened her shoulders, crouched slightly, took a deep breath, and let out the loudest roar she probably had ever heard from herself.
Time to really see red... blood red to be specific.
Neoma rose to her full height and opened her wings to full span, and began biting and clawing at everything and anything close to her. Any human within her reach didn't want to be.
She reached for a nearby one that was scrambling to reach onto her back, where he could stab her neck with a needle. She picked him up by the arm with her teeth and threw him into a group nearby, smirking in satisfaction as they all tumbled to the ground. Another rose from a fallen position, rushing at her and attempting to drive a stake into her talons. She jumped backwards, and formed her warping into a shield that caught the spear and caused it to bounce backward.
Her shield had sharp edges, and she commanded it to fly around her closely like a disc, slamming into the edges of people's arms and causing damages too severe to be called a 'scratch'.
Neoma turned as one tried to hit her tail. The shield came out of nowhere and hit the human's head bluntly, causing the person to crumple to the ground.
She panted, standing over a fallen group of humans that were not keen on moving anytime soon. Her heart raced with adrenaline.
Everything began falling back into place. She was still in an arena, and spectators had just watched her possibly kill a few humans.
But this time, she wasn't ashamed.
She stared around at them all, daring them to do something.
A stray human stood, and she automatically growled.
He held up his hands. In broken Dragonese, he said, "Stop. Peace."
Neoma chuckled without a real smile. A glint in her eye, she stalked closer. She lowered her face to his, and slowly and clearly said, "No."
Unexpectedly though, a sharp feeling hit her tail. She looked back to see a spear with clear poison on the tip stuck in it.
"....Crap.... that's really bad." She muttered, before it hit her and she crumpled.

(And no y'all, this isn't just sleeping poison. You'll see.)

Okay so i did neoma's part tonight, i'll do the other three's part tomorrow! btw i listened to league of legends music while i wrote that, it really inspired me lol so that's another reason for it being so long and intense haha

The cool night air cleared Kings head fairly quickly, his crest raised to catch the breeze as he slowly walked down the village street. Dim orange hanging lanterns lit his path as he neared the hatchery, his steps becoming slower as he did so. “This is stupid. it’s the middle of the night King, why do you make yourself do this. That egg better be ok…”
King opened the door gently, the creaking sounding louder then possible in the dead of night. Every step made the wooden floor shriek under his weight and suddenly everything seemed to be louder then normal.

He saw the egg on the other side of the glass wall, feeling the guilt well up inside him again. It pulsed with light as he neared, as if his dream was becoming a reality.
King swallowed hard, not afraid, but worried. He’d seen eggs hatch before, normally it was just like you’d imagine. But this egg was different, blueish white light seemed to pour from the indents and cracks in the egg, new cracks began to emerge along with them spilling more silvery light everywhere. He opened the door and strode slowly into the room, every step closer to the egg resulted in a pulse of light.
Could it be…?
The egg rocked lightly, a piece of its shell dislodging slightly.
“Weird…no explosion of ligh- ”
The room erupted in a wave of almost blinding silver light, so much so that King had to shield his eyes with his wing quickly. His many years of missions had included more bombs and grenades then he could count, the sudden explosion of light immediately bringing back countless memories of his conflicts with humans and team members lost to those such missions. The wave of light rippled over his feathers like a splash of water from the lake, it subsided after a moment and King raised his head. His eyes still shocked by the sudden brightness. And there, in the middle of the nest, filled with pieces of egg shell with a bright, silvery interior, sat a small dragonet. It was the size of his talon and at first it wasn’t moving, giving King his second heart attack that night. He rushed forwards and then proceeded slowly, cradling the small creature with great care. It finally opened its eyes and looked straight up at king, as if he was an enormous thing too big to comprehend. The dragonet was small and silver colored, with blacks scales dotted down its neck and in other various places. A silver liquid covered several spots of the hatchling, before seeping into its scales in a matter of moments.
Woah….hello lil fella… you’re….you’re a …a Lunarwing.”
He said in amazement, bringing his head close to the dragonet and watching the lil thing in wonder.
The outside of his egg was soooo dark. It was always brighter in there before but now the light was gone, except small bulbs of the light hanging from tendrils on his back. It lit up his surrounding just enough to make out a figure, like him, but much, much bigger. He stared up at the thing holding him in awe, a sense of affection coming over him even in his hatchling state. He knew that this dragon, who was there beside him when he hatched and had been talking to him for several days, was his guardian. His parent. He knew it immediately.
It didn’t matter that King looked almost nothing like him other then being a dragon, this was obviously his parent.
The dragonet slowly wobbled to his feet, unsteadily trying to stand and failing. He fell forwards onto his snout and immediately his face was buried in feathers. He looked up with big, wide eyes and smiled happily. His left ear hung at an odd angle and looked distorted, a few bruises and scratch marks stood out on his tiny frame, but the dragonet didn’t seem to mind. All he could remember from before was odd squeaking from many different creatures that yelled a lot and seemed unhappy, occasionally he’d heard a small voice when the other eggs began to hatch beside him. But he wasn’t ready.
Then one day a few days before his hatching he’d been jolted about, along with the feeling of being pressed in on and crushed. But then the voice came, soothing and calm, worried and protective all at once. This dragon who held him had the same voice, kind and calm. Unlike the voices he’d heard before the squeaks. One name stuck in the forefront of his mind, a name always yelled by a deep voiced dragon, one who was the opposite of his protector. It’d always yelled one name.
“MILZA”

So where are we at with Blackout, Whitestar, Alyssia, Apple, and Bamboo? I don't think Blackout ever responded to Whitestars last comment.

i'm currently thinking and planning, working on it!! i gotta make sure this all goes just right.... i also keep getting distracted with future plot plans that i have lolllll

Whitestar nodded at Alyssia as Apple translated her words. He glanced over at Blackout and noticed his expression darken. The Nightwing looked lost in thought, and Whitestar could only figure it was something of the Scorpion Den, or perhaps the recent battle. Maybe both.
"We will fix all of this," he said quietly to Blackout. "Don't let yourself get dragged into the guilt, or you will never find the strength to overcome it and do the right thing. What's passed is passed. We all have our darkside. But you can't let it take over you."
