No it's not self-centered at all. I totally get the excitementOkay, sorry. I realize that I sounded very self-centered there. Thanks.
So after Austin and Alyssia's reaction to this scene, are they all going to sleep? We can skip to the morning as soon as they do and then we will be on the same day, but just a little behind the SD groupsBlackout watched as Whitestar stepped away, mentally snarling at the situation. Austin had an advantage here; if he said no, it would be harder to communicate with Alyssia and would be possibly more difficult without someone who knows the situation better...
Of course, the other side was that he didn't trust Austin as far as he could throw him.
The problem was, Blackout could throw him quite a distance. The thought of the annoying little human flying through the air pell-mell made Blackout snicker...
Anyways, he didn't trust Austin.
He looked down his nose at the blond head.
After being ridden by this pest for so long, he wanted more than anything to deny him something that would be helpful. But really, it would help them more in the longrun right?
He sighed. He knew they were going to have to rest first.
"Fine." He huffed. "You can come. But you're not riding on my back. I'll let Alyssia ride if she would like, but you? Huh uh, you're getting the grand treatment of being carried in my talons, bozo!"
He smirked at Austin.
Oh, how fun this could be.
I'm actually plotting all the time for the jailbreak... It's.. gonna be elite. No it's not self-centered at all. I totally get the excitement

Shrike flinched away from Kapok’s touch, but looked into the larger dragon’s eyes. He sat a moment, and his feathers slowly flattened.Kapok took a step toward the agitated Cloudwing, carefully resting his wings on the smaller dragon's shoulders. He dipped his head down to Shrikes level and held his gaze, keeping his expression calm but firm. He hoped The Cloudwing wasn't too ruffled to understand.
Shrike sniffed, acting uninterested. “But you obviously didn’t try hard enough.” He observed coldly."I..." Sol started cooly, loosing his smirk, "I don't need your protection, NightWing." He ripped his gaze from the door. "What do you want from me, Shrike?" Sol sighed heavily. "I've played the cards I was given. I'm a- alive. I am friends with a human. I walk the streets of the Scorpion Den as if I was one of them." Sol shook his head, a bit flustered. "I tried to fight them, man. I... really fought them. Fought everything." He dropped his gaze. "But.." he blinked, lifting his head and staring at the far wall, his expression cold as he relieved slow, hideous scenes of a seeming past life.
Sol scrambled to his feet, shuddering. "Say that again," He shouted. "Say it! You wouldn't know. You. Wouldn't. Know." He clenched his jaw, swallowing hard.Shrike flinched away from Kapok’s touch, but looked into the larger dragon’s eyes. He sat a moment, and his feathers slowly flattened.
“Okay, I’m fine, alright? I’m fine.” He looked away and slowly shrugged off Kapok’s wings.
Shrike sniffed, acting uninterested. “But you obviously didn’t try hard enough.” He observed coldly.
