Of Feathers And Flames- A Wings of Fire AU RP

Sol extended his wing, pushing Tobias gently towards himself, propping the man up into a sitting position.
Tobias gave a heavy sigh, waking slowly. "Oh, I'm so tired." He whispered, leaning heavily against Sol, holding his arms tightly across his chest.
"That's alright." Sol responded, his gaze ahead, eyes watching the IceWing dragonet. "I'll let you know what happens."
Tobias nodded, turning his head away.
Sol let his gaze shift towards Eclipse.
“Ugh, how do we fix this?” Winter whispered, studying the broken door. It creaked as he leaned it forward. “Shhh..” Raptor hissed subconsciously, watching over his shoulder at the sand outside, glowing white in the moonlight. She kept her flashlight leveled at the floor as the dragon beside her grumbled quitetly.
“Ahh, I can’t fix this right now,” Winter muttered, “the hinges stuck to the doorframe, and I’d need a drill or something to put it back on.” “That’d be loud though,” Raptor said, looking over at the door, “did you finish the other door? Or—entrance? Whatever?” Winter grimaced, glancing at her. “Ahhhhhno. Heh. I meant to.” He rubbed his neck, leaning the door against the doorframe.
Raptor huffed.
“I mean.. we’ve still got the bunker. That’s all that matters, right? And now we know it won’t be easily found.” Winter stuck his head through the doorway and glanced around as Raptor ‘mmed’ her agreement. “It’s almost midnight anyway. They’ll be here any minute. Want me to go look for them or do you want to?” The SandWing hybrid much more preferred Winter or Leuria or someone else make executive descisions, but she was.. technically.. running the operation. So it was technically.. up to her. Unfortunately. She hated making descisions.
She ran the scenario through her mind, deciding it was a task she would be able to do fairly easily. “I can go,” she responded, and furrowed her brow. “They better not have their headlights on right now though, or they’ll definitely get seen.”
“Ugh, thanks. I didn’t not want to walk out there and try to find some trucks in the darkness.” Winter sat down contentedly right inside the door, tucked out of sight. Raptor winced, realizing she’d forgotten that Winter couldn’t fly. She knew SnowWing couldn’t really fly, but their wings gave her a false sense that they could.

The SandWing hybrid squeezed her wings closer to her body, stepping out onto the cold, firm sand. She glanced back and forth several times, her ears perked for signs of guards before heading out into the darkness.

"Go to bed."

If they get in a bind Harper should have a dramatic entrance 🤘

Hibiscus snapped awake at the sound of sudden loud talking. She lifted her head from her talons, blinking sleep from her eyes. She yawned.
"We aren't here already, are we?" she asked to no one in particular. "It feels like we're slowing down."

Cassius groaned loudly, stretching and moaning in protest at the loud noises. “Whhatarewedoomg?” He slurred, eyes half-lidded, “isss laaaaate..”

“What she said,” Sunspot said, flicking an ear at Hibiscus.
She swung her head anround and narrowed her eyes suspiciously at Tobias. She didn’t trust the human. What if this was all a trap and Sol’s precious little frosted-tip savior was lying to them all along?
Eclipse growled lowly in her throat and pushed herself to her feet, Shard immediately appearing at her side.
Sunspot was watching Tobias through narrowed eyes, Eclipse already forgotten, and the Lunarwing followed her gaze. The human was still asleep, leaned against Sol's side, and Eclipse shot Sunspot a skeptical look before glancing back at Sol, her gaze meeting his.
"Does anyone know where we are?"

"I believe there are some awaiting our arrival. Though I have been poorly informed." Sol frowned, feeling the truck slow. He glanced towards the doors.

Sunspot growled. “Good someones or bad someones?” Her crest stood up tall as she followed Sol’s gaze to the truck doors.
Eclipse glanced behind her, fixing her eyes on the back of the transport as well. The truck had slowed significantly and she could hear the faint whining of the tires.
"We might be about to find out," she murmured, pulling Shard closer to her side protectively.

Leur squinted her eyes as the transport crossed a speed bump, the brights bouncing up into her line of vision. She stepped back, remained hidden in the shadows and looked down as the truck rolled by. The night air was crisp.
She began to climb the fire escape in deadly silence, scaling the thirteen story building. A breeze greeted her, and it tousled fine blonde hair as she crept to the corner of the building and knelt, scanning below. Another truck passed by, her eyes followed the road down a couple streets, and she realized she would need to move further east to acquire a decent view of the oncoming trucks.
Standing, Leur walked the ridge of the building, not making a sound. She moved further down to the roof corner, squatting as she leaned over the edge. The streets were silent. Who would dare travel them at night, in the dark? Someone with a death wish.
She ran a hand through her hair and tied it back, looking into the breeze. A third truck rounded the corner, starting slowly down the street, it's engine churning loudly.
Leur reached for her phone. She leaned into her hips, gently rocking, her fingers moving with quick accuracy across the bright screen.
"Want me to come"
She sent the message, pocketing the device as another truck rolled in.
Leur cocked her head, then pulled the phone back out. She stared at the conversation, her eyes flicking over recent messages. She scrolled up, then back down.
