I have a hen that is laying on eggs for a day or two then is off for a day then goes back to sitting. I'm new with turkeys but have years of experience with chickens. Normally with chickens I just take the eggs every day until I see that a hen is serious but I don't want to confuse a turkey by doing this. Right now the turkey is in general population and sitting on her and chicken eggs. Should I separate her with a nest of eggs? Will she become serious or should I not bother with it and leave her alone?
