Off season for laying ducks?

I have 2 chickens that lay and I’ve been only getting 1 per day. It’s normal for poultry to stop laying at this time

Tell that to my ducks. lol. I still have a few chicken hens still laying.

I got 000000 today!!!!!! and I thought I would get 4!

After 6 yesterday only 2 duck and 1 chicken

Yeah I have gotten 0 for 2 days and got 1 today. Cuz my ducks are new layers i think they are done for the year. Unless off and on eggs I think they should be done.

3 Runner duck eggs today.

@Miss Lydia it really seems like all or nothing... I might get 6-8 one day and then just one chicken egg and one duck egg the following day... for awhile they were laying them faster than we were eating them, but just this past week it seems like we've hit the tipping point and now we are eating them faster than they are laying them... ugh... we'll see if we get through the winter without buying eggs or not, less than 2 months to solstice

Well usually I have some of my chickens and ducks lay through winter but it’s a toss up if it happens this year. Just have to wait and see. Now I edit when I went to put everyone up for the Night I found two chicken eggs in the nest box

Today I found a secret cashes of Runner duck eggs 7 total. I went in to their house that they aren't sleeping in right now and saw my Buff back in a corner after she came out I went in and dug down into the shaving and came out with them.
